    identity, compounding and discounting, and annuities. (Draws material from
    Chapters 3 to 5)

    Assignment Details
    Answer the following questions and combine
    your answers into a report.

    Discuss the
    advantages/disadvantages of the sole proprietorship, partnership and
    corporate forms of business organization.
    Discuss why the revenue and
    cost figures shown on a standard income statement may not be
    representative of the actual cash inflows and outflows that occurred
    during the period.
    Why is the Du Pont identity a
    valuable tool for analyzing the performance of the firm?
    Discuss the differences in the
    future value of annuity and of a annuity due with otherwise equal cash
    flows.

    The format of the report is to be as
    follows:

    Typed, double spaced, Times New
    Roman font (size 12), one inch margins on all sides, APA format.
    In addition to the 2 pages
    required, a title page is to be included. The title page is to contain the
    title of the assignment, your name, the instructor’s name, the course
    title, and the date.
